BAFTA Player Vs Characters Panel & a little bit of extra info from me :)
The Other writers were Jim Swallow, a man I had met when I went to get some books signed by Dan Abnett and Graham McNeil; Jim just showed up and I got him to sign a different book as I did not have his or money to buy one.) Jim has (to a sudden realisation to me) was the writer on Deus Ex : Human Revolution, but also had key titles such as Killzone 2 and Star Trek Invasion (Amongst others I did not realise he had done so much). also there was Ed stern who was the writer for Brink and Rhianna Pratchett from Mirrors Edge, Heavenly sword and Overlord series.
The entire thing was very good, they talked about Interactivity vs Cut scenes, the Environment and Game as a Character. All I can say from the entire thing is these simple things. “Immersion is the key” and “Show do not Tell” It was rather funny with the cheap jokes that came off sometimes but also the fact that when Rhianna talked about her games, I realised, She did mostly female dominant games which made me chuckle to myself.
Anyway, that's pretty much it from me, here is a quick update from me; I have got everything ready for Expo this Friday to Sunday. Cant wait to see Devon, It will be hilarious to see her again :D cant wait :D
(here is a quick pic I have drawn, deciding to add a new pic every time I post)

Ghostbusters Fan Fiction Short Piece Extract & a quick update from me.
Anyway, here is the Extract, hope you like it, the whole thing isn't very long, and will probably only be about 10 pages on A4, but its just something to get me writing again.
Meanwhile at the firehouse, it was another boring ghost less day, Roland was laid on his back working on the Ecto-1 which had needed a tune-up for quite a while but they had previously been too busy to work on it and thanks to the lack of ghosts he'd been able to get if fixed. He'd also been working on the Proton packs which now would need less power from the Proton charges and gave a better output. Upstairs in the lab, Egon and Kylie were flicking through books studying their last catch; it was a small Class 1 ghost that seemed to be able to inhabit other ghosts, it was completely harmless and was non-sentient, it was more of a parasite that seemed to feed of the energy of another ghost, Egon had speculated that they could use it for ghost hunting but needed a way to control it.Hope you guys like this, I am working on getting this finished soon, but with University, sleeping problems, depression, lack of writing and other stuff getting in my way, it might be a while. I have set my plan of finishing it before Expo this weekend, So i can have Devon read it for me and get her opinion on it. Anyway this is me signing off for tonight, try and get some sleep. (Its 3am here now :( )
Out in the living room area of the firehouse Garret and Eduardo were sat playing videogames on the new widescreen TV they had bought for the firehouse; 'seeing as we're here all the time, why not have a decent TV' was the thinking behind Eduardo's purchase.
"So, you got a date for tonight?" Garret asked out of the blue, just as he threw his controller into the air with a "Woooo" of victory,
"No... I don’t need one, this whole day stinks; just another excuse for couples to go lovey-dovey and for companies to bump up the price of chocolate" Eduardo replied with a sigh as he put the controller down by the Xbox with a huff. As if called by the simple act of saying 'chocolate' Slimer flew up through the floor as fast as you could have clicked your fingers.
"Chowcowate!" it cried out and searched around, making a mess of everything it flew through; including Eduardo's face.
"Slimer! There is no Chocolate here... Get lost" Eduardo cried out as he tried to wipe his face clean with his bare hands, only making his hands sticky in the progress.
"Perhaps Slimer could be your date" Garret laughed and wheeled himself over to the fridge and pulled out a bottle of cola.
"Oh... ha ha" Eduardo laughed sarcastically before making his way over and grabbing a bottle too. "Have you got one Mr. Everyone-Loves-Me?" Eduardo asked but Garret just shook his head and shrugged.
"I don’t need anyone, I got my basketball and I got busting ghosts, I don’t want to settle down yet, I want the thrill not the boring lovey-dovey stuff." Garret replied and the pair both chuckled,
Here is a quick pic I found of the Ghostbusters Extreme team in origional ‘busters gear, not sure why Garret has a missing leg :S

Ghostbusters Extreme Short Story
Hello everyone, just a quick update to tell you all that I will be starting a short story based on the “cartoon” Ghostbusters Extreme, If you have not seen it; it is a very funny take on the whole Ghostbusters theme, ofcourse it was for kids in the 90’s and features teenagers as the main cast. It is much like the cartoons of “our day” where adults can watch and still laugh; many of the jokes are funny for kids, but as an adult you laugh even more, for example, Eduardo’s “They must be dead” line is even funnier when your old enough to understand catchphrases rather then being a kid who just likes the lasers and ghosts.
While watching I decided to search out a few images and found these on DeviantArt and even a friend had them on her profile for a Roleplay character. Anyway, I’ve decided to make a short story based on it and putting up a little into the adult themes, Not too much adult but something that we can enjoy and laugh at while still playing on the themes in the show such as the awkwardness Love / Hate relationship of Eduardo & Kylie and the fact that one of the characters is in a wheelchair.
Hope you enjoy the short story as much as I will writing it; it is a change of pace from writing “The Way the Stars Fall” and hopefully get me some inspiration to continue that later.

A quick message from me and a couple of things I've written. I think I will call them “Larkisms” Seeing as they don't have real categories :S : - One Time, One Goodbye
Hi there everyone, Quick message from me; things are going okay at the moment, university is going well and things seem to be lifting up in that area. Many bad things have popped up lately but I decided to open this thing with a happy message, first off my mum lost her job after she won a case with the school she works in; they mistreated her by overworking her when she is disabled and should only work 30 hrs a week, by making her go 60+ AND to make it worse, Unpaid and threatened with her job if she didn't do it. Well she finally got Union involved and they won a settlement for many many pound notes. Problem is she has to move out the school house. So she is trying to find an new place for her and my brother Daniel.
Well, other things that have popped up, Still single despite attempts to change that. Met flat mates which is good, but one seems to be… lets say… freaky… had to go down with 2 other flat mates to report him for very suspicious behaviour (here is an example; he stalked a flat mates flat from Here to the tube station about a mile and half - 2 down the road.)
Anyway, Here are a few “Larkisms” I have done in the past few months; not really done any lately because I haven't felt like writing but here are some. I will be posting artwork I do onto here too, maybe even as images in this so it goes with something, so the art may or may not represent what's on the page :)
One Time
A Long time ago, in a distant land
orbiting a alien star, I travelled;
Alone and Solemn on my journey.
Wandering the stars trying to remember,
remembering the time you made me laugh,
the time we both cried;
that One Time.
I travelled the universe to find you;
I journeyed the heavens to love you,
I searched the cosmos to just be with you;
to relive that One Time.

One Goodbye
My headlamps shine on as I travel into the night,
Streetlamps pass us by into the night,
The stars glow for us as I journey into the night,
forever on the road to Eternity.
The engine roars once more as I pull over for gas,
standing into the pure light of the station;
the only civilisation for miles.
Your Photo falls from my sun visor,
your smile looking up from happier times.
Memory catches me as a lump in my throat,
your smile, your eyes, they are forever in my heart.
I pull out the station and turn back,
on the road home, to see you once more;
Perhaps for One Last Goodbye
