Hey there everyone; Playing the Mass effect 3 demo once more has given me the idea of putting my characters thoughts and feelings down into a sort of mission log / journal as He progresses through the games. Anyway, I will start ME 1 and 2 soon and post their logs on here under a new Category “Mass Effect Log” I may even try to put it on a new page if I can.

Fought off more husks, came into a old housing tower, A small boy cowered in the vent system, I tried to coax him out, but he fled, his worlds broke my heart. "we're all going to die..." yes... we are, but to hell If I am letting a reaper take my life, I choose when and where; not some machines.

After climbing down the building, A reaper lands so close you could almost reach out and touch it; my god... how are we going to fight these? I thought we could do it, but... watching one of the Alliance dreadnoughts unleash all its got onto the reaper without even a scratch. My Mind falters and I hope we find a way. We have to find a way...

Found some Marines, they were in a gunship that had been shot down; found some mutated and Indoctrinated Batarians, morphed and changed by Indoctrination. Is this how the Protheans felt when they saw the Reapers descending from the sky? How did they react? did they panic? or fight back...

Got to the crashed gunship; Set up the radio but it cut off; Hopefully the Normandy will pick it up.

The Normandy arrived, Thank god, Joker.. I would kiss you if you'd not slap me. Anderson is staying behind; to command the resistance. Re-instated me to Commander, My Task; Gather fleets to come back.
As we took off, I got a good vide of the city, Troops fighting the Indoctrinated, I spotted the boy just as a reaper approached. Luckily he was scooped into a shuttle; I waved as he saw me. The smile on his lips will haunt me forever. Watching the two shuttles launch as the reaper turned; Fear gripped my heart and a tear dropped from my eye as they were destroyed.
Leaving Earth Orbit I got a sight of the foe we will face, Millions... Billions of ships and asteroids. All descending on Earth. I vow this to Earth and the human race. I will return; I will bring the galaxy on my heels, I will destroy the Reapers and make sure they never return. I vow this... here.. and Now...
