Quick Blog Update 25/11/2011 & A few Larkisms, - Light.

Hey there everyone, Just writing to give a quick update and I thought I’d throw  Larkism onto here seeing as I dont put many up and I’ve got loads backlogged to write.

Anyway, I am about half way through “The Way the Stars Fall”, Chapter 15 just finished even after about 3 years of writing it :S Urg… I hate writers block; I still need to finish “Curse of a Paladin” and also my Fan Fiction of Ghostbusters Extreme then also the rest of the NaNoWriMo novel I started but never even got close to finishing (once again).  Then I also need to do my coursework.. *sigh* C++ is sooooo hard I have no idea how i am supposed to do it.

On a brighter note, The Tanith stuff goes well, went out with Enys and Paul yesterday night and met another member of our team at an awesome bar in Covent Garden. the place is now officially the Tanith’s bar ;)

Anyway here is a quick Larkisms & bit of my artwork to go on here

Light

As the Darkness closes in

I wander on, trying to find the way.

The Black surrounds me on all sides

with no way out nor forward.

I was a long time since I had seen it;

the end of the line, my destination.

Many years since I left;

now I want to change this and be another way.

A way of love, passion and company,

you were there for me when I needed you

but no longer, it was years ago.

Too many years since;

since I had seen the Light.

Memory, Journey and Reason to Try.

Here is a quick few “Larkisms” I have done in the past; still needing to upload them to here, I am rather backlogged with coursework and games, plus my granddad is in hospital and I'm a little worried. Get well soon granddad. Anyway, here are the Larkisms.

Memory

My min wanders off, clouding my thoughts.
I try to remember that time, that place
but nothing but darkness fills my mind.
I want them to return; to remember the past
to remember the happier times,
to remember the times together
but my Memory Fails me once more.

I want to remember the times we were smiling,
I want to remember the times we cried,
I want to remember those places we journeyed
but my Memory fails me once again.

I will tell you my thoughts,
I will tell you my feelings,
I will tell you my love;
if my Memory doesn’t fail me anymore

Journey

I left to try to fix myself
but I only ended up making myself broken.
I wanted to change myself
but ended up changing for the worst.
Why oh why did it have to be this way;
the way that life rolls the dice of fate.
Snake eyes roll the wrong name,
the Dance of Death is what I will get.
So I return to you to find you moving on,
I spent all my time trying to make myself better
but for all the nought.
I move on to try to find love
but again I fail, so I must continue on,
Forever moving on, continuing my everlasting Journey

Reason to Try

There was a time that we were one,
a time that we were together.
We were happy and drunk with love
and it was a time that I will never forget,
I was stupid, you were stupid; we were both stupid.
It ended before I wanted it to, we wanted to.
I have a chance to help and I will take it,
if to only help you see me now.
One time I loved you and I still do,
I never forget about you and never will
I just want one more try;
you were always my Reason to Try
