Lately I have been having the attempt at playing All Points Bulletin, APB. APB is basically a game of Cops & Robbers, with players being either the Criminals; the Robbers, or pursuing them as the Enforcers; the Cops. The Basic concept is for the Enforcers to stop the Criminals doing their job. My first character was an Enforcer and went by the name “HlaineLarkin”, a testament to the Gaunts Ghosts character of the same name. I played about an hour on this account a few months back and did not touch the game again until the past few days.
A few days ago my brother asked me to install it again to play it with again with him but this time as a Criminal; so I set forth to create my Criminal of the name “TonaShrike”; another testament but this time to my own character from my Novel; ‘The Way the Stars Fall’. As you can probably guess from the name, Tona is a woman; I always create a female character for my second character, its just the way I do things.
This Character has grown quite far; and I shape her to what I think Tona would look like as a Criminal; a red headed killer, a Valkyrie that takes her victims to the Afterlife. Anyway APB is a broken game; broken in the fact that it has no anti-cheat system so most people on the game use Aimbots, proven by the instant deaths you get when walking around a corner to die by 100 bullets all hitting your characters head-hitbox but also in the fact that the matchmaking system does not work at all by posting new players up against hard veterans.
Despite this I seem to be playing a little bit of it, even if I do rage at the insta-deaths that keep occuring every other minute.
