Memory, Lost & Break my Fall

Here are three little things I have wrote during the weeks between my last post (Not the Review, but the last poem,) The Lost was inspired by the Firefly episode “Out of Gas”, while Memory and Break my Fall are both inspired by Battlestar Galactica.
Lost
The Engines were quiet
and the Power was drained.
Serenity lost; dying with its Captain.
Lost and Alone, he bleeds on the deck,
his family gone and his life slipping away,
His one true wish for another breath.
No one wants to die alone,
but everyone dies alone,
Here, there and everywhere;
People die alone,
because no one leaves Serenity.

Memory

We Lived as one, working in Unity.
Until our world was torn by the Ravages of War
We had to leave our home and wander the Stars,
Hunted by our own creations
They are unrelenting; thirty three was our unlucky number.
Caprica was lost to nuclear fire,
Out only hope is a single Star;
A Battlestar to guide us to fabled lands.
Oh Terra of old waits for our return,
Galactica is our only hope.

Break My Fall
The Stars shine in the dark of the sky
My Raptor burns like one of the Stars above
And I float helplessly in the void.
War rages all around yet I float alone.
My Comrades die while I limp on,
The Toasters kill our men and we bite back
But I am alone in the void.
I pray for all the things I will miss,
The People I love, miss and Pray for.
Only one I wish to See,
I want you to Break my Fall.
